Glass Easter at the museum
Program
The State Museum of Glass and Jewelry in Jablonec nad Nisou invites families with children to enjoy an Easter break filled with fun crafts! From April 2 to 5, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day, every visitor to the museum workshop will create a unique spring decoration.
Activities include decorating glass eggs and making glittery butterflies. “We want to show visitors that Easter traditions can be interestingly combined with the local costume jewelry craft,” says museum educator Dana Křivánková, inviting visitors to the event. Experienced instructors will help both children and adults create original items to take home as beautiful souvenirs.
In addition to the craft workshops, visitors of all ages can spice up their holiday visit with fun quizzes, and entertainment will also be provided in the museum park, which features children’s play elements inspired by glass and jewelry.
